I was just recently introduced to this lovely Fishwrapper newspaper. Some old issues were placed at Twin Stream Campground, Morris, PA in the laundry room. Nice way to 'recycle' wholesome material. Traveled along Rt 501 on my way home, passing thru Myerstown; lovely scenic area. Thx to the editor & publisher of this neat little paper.

By God's blessed providence, yesterday our family found your wonderful publication when we "just happened" to be visiting the Lancaster area for a few hours and picked up a free copy. What a breath of fresh air is provided in your content! I am placing this first merchandise order with much joy and will be talking with my husband soon about placing a subscription order also. We live some distance away and surely will not find any copies of The Fishwrapper locally and, though I realize you've generously made it available on-line, I'm not certain that particular format would be best for us. Thank you again for your wonderful publication and especially your BOLDNESS in addressing head-on some of the extremely non-educational "sports & entertainment" foolishness that is pursued with an amazingly unquestioned blindness within many of (most of?) today's institutional schools.

The ad went out on Friday. “As of Monday Morning at 9Am we already had 6 calls from the Fishwrapper ad.”

I plan to use them [Precious Proverbs] in my English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. I've used several different articles from the Fishwrapper if I think they will spark good conversation. Not to mention, I really enjoy reading the Fishwrapper myself. Even though I no longer live in the area, I try to check in and read it online.

This Christmas I had given as a present along with all the others an Orange to my 8 grandchildren.I read to them along with the dinner blessing the story of the Orange and the kindness and sharing that we all should have toward each other.I think God pushed me into this reading at our Christmas dinner.I hope this story has moved into our hearts as much as it has mine.Thank you for your superb publication

I just read my first issue of fishwrapper,which I picked up in Lancaster county.I enjoyed reading the things in it (I don't read to many things, aside from the bible) but this,I just couldn't put it down. It is just great reading.

Although we live in Myerstown, we are snowbirds and go to FL for the winter and look forward to recieving the FISHWRAPPER and the pass them on to our Floridian friends.

During my drive from Connecticut to Tennessee, I pulled off of a highway and stopped at an old Inn/restaurant in Pennsylvania. There, on a tabletop, were copies of the previously unknown to me, Fishwrapper. The readings were fascinating and the spiritual messages, warming. While away in Tennessee I sent in a subscription request and just received Vol 17 Issue 5 in the mail. The lead story brought tears to my eyes and reinforced the reality that each of us is able to aid another, if I/we only make the effort to give of ourselves much in the same way as the "Good Samaritan" within the parable in the Bible. I just finished reading "The Gift of Sight" in your Nov. 27, 2012 issue. This story tugged at my heart strings and gave me the peace of mind I have not had til now. When my husband passed away, he was an organ donor. However, due to his illness, they were only able to use his corneas. I pray that somewhere someone has had the same experiences as this gentleman and see the beauty in the world around them.

The article about packing children's clothes in zip lock bags reminded me of the time my son went to camp. I packed his clothes in zip lock bags and he decided there was no need to change his clothes so the unpacking went fast because the clothes could be placed back in the drawers without the need to wash and dry. A time saver for Mom!

Although my husband and I lived in PA for 40 years before moving to Austria, I only recently discovered your delightful Fishwrapper. A friend sent me the Sept. 2013 issue knowing I adore hummingbirds. Since we're in Austria in Christian ministry, I'm thrilled that I can read it on-line. Thank you for your boldness for Christ.

We moved here to PA just a few years ago because of my husbands job. Coming from Colorado springs, quiet a large community, we were unsure how we would adapt to the small town life. With no family here,and not knowing anyone in the area, we ventured out into the community and discovered with delite, a feeling of times gone by. From the little home town grocery stores and bakerys, to the many diners and mom and pop run businesses. It was while visiting One of the best eateries in the area that I discovered the Fishwrapper. I probably read that paper 5 or6 times,not wanting to lose that feeling of stepping back in time. I, needless to say, do not miss an issue. I also keep them all and send them to our children, who live in different parts of the US. Thank you so much for the experience, the stories, Bible verses, and all around wonderful paper. My husband and I have been enjoying the paper for quite some time. It never ceased to amaze us! But, I need to know when you have visited my office? The article entitled A Clean Desk in the Feb, 9, 2016 issue so completely describes my desk that I thought I must have missed you visit. It could not have described my desk more accurately! In the last couple of years, I began walking to Jak's Diner in Topton, PA early Saturday morning for breakfast. I have found it to be good exercise, as it is about eight miles round trip, and a stress reliever, as the walk is on country roads, and during the rest of the week, I work in law enforcement. Breakfast at Jak's is both delicious and fairly priced, but what makes it even better is when I notice the new issue of The Fishwrapper sitting there, waiting to be read. As a Volunteer Coordinator who is part of the Activities Dept., I can tell you that many volunteers use the Fishwrapper to read to residents who cannot read. I also know that sometimes an activity assistant will pick a theme and will read Fishwrapper stories related to that theme to residents as part of the regular 10 a.m or 2 p.m. daily activity conducted on each of our 7 floors.
